A baseline survey study was conducted in Yadgir District by Bharat Agro Industries Foundation, under the project Establishing SHG/FPO enterprises to address malnutrition and provide rural livelihoods in Yadgir District, Karnataka. The baseline will capture the nutritional status of children, adolescents and adults, and their dietary intake. Women Self-Help Groups are being mobilized to inform them about the new project, and how it will improve their health, and their families’ health and provide new livelihoods.
