Sample distribution of VitaPoshan has been completed.
By and large, we’ve had very encouraging feedback from the field.
Around 80% of the community are in complete acceptance of the products. Overall, they like the taste, the feel and the flavours.
15% of the community are indifferent to VitaPoshan Baalya, citing reasons of lack of time, but mostly unwillingness to purchase extra milk, which they say is outside their budget, and they don’t like it with water. However, they liked the Family VitaPoshan, because they could eat it along with whatever else they were routinely eating, and found it enriched the taste as well as made them feel good and energetic.
However, there is this hardest nut yet to crack.
Around 5% of the community point blank refused to have anything to do with introducing a new food in their diet. They had a complete mental block, they were not willing to listen about the benefits of the new foods, and said they were afraid of side effects.
This group happens to be the poorest labourers, completely illiterate and with no awareness of basic health and nutritional norms.
We are presently discussing how we can convince this group, which is also the most vulnerable.
Meanwhile, families are happily mixing VitaPoshan into their routine daily cooking, and are very excited about the new tastes and flavours being added to their daily diet.
But most satisfying is the highly positive feedback from the community – that after consuming VitaPoshan, there is improvement in health and energy levels of children, adolescents and adults; the products have good taste and are easily digestible, and there is a much higher sense of well being and better health across all age groups.
